A Warm Coat is Like a Warm Hug

Blessings Galore! Last weekend the drive thru drop-off event for jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts was more than successful ... it was a huge success. Over 1500 items were collected! Such a blessing to individuals and families being served by Solutions for Change, Interfaith Community Services, New Day Urban Ministries, Door of Hope, Salvation Army, and Serving the Enlisted Project (STEP). All non-profits endorsed by RB Community.

In addition to outerwear, our knitting group provided 185 knit hats, scarves, and afghans that were delivered to the same organizations. Thank you to Linda Tyler and our knitters!

Thank you to Jill Emery, Amy Wazny, Joyce and Chuck Schroeder who helped Elaine Johnson collect and organize the clothing. Special THANK YOU to Diana Hall who delivered to Door of Hope, Chuck Schroeder who delivered to Interfaith and Salvation Army, Bill Bokesch for two trips down to New Day Urban Ministries, and the rest was delivered by Elaine to STEP, Solutions for Change, and a second carload to Door of Hope.
