Our cleaning supply collection day was a huge success with an estimate of $2500 worth of household cleaning supplies, brooms, dustpans, buckets, sanitizing wipes, and paper towels being delivered to families leaving transitional housing and moving into their first apartment at Solutions for Change and Interfaith Community Services.
Our delivery day to Solutions for Change had some extra bonuses for their families. Thank you to Krissy Stangarone who made 13 bears by hand (see photo) and donated them to RB Community to give to children at one of our endorsed non-profits serving families in need. Additionally, 50 Beanie Babies from the Bokesch household were donated with the 13 bears so more children received gifts. "4 Community Care" food pantry had excess bread and asked if that could be delivered to Solutions for Change as well.
Our congregation continues to be a blessing to families in our communities. Thank You!
