Your officer nominating committee (ONC) is charged with recommending a Mission Study Team (MST) to the congregation for their approval. This is a necessary first step in the search for a new senior pastor. This is not to be confused with the missions of service to our local and international community. The MST's objective is to prepare a "resume" for RB Community Church which will guide the work of the yet to be formed Pastor Nominating Committee.
The MST will interview congregants and members of the community to discern God's voice for our church. The mission study also involves prayerful reflection on our history and current demographic data about our church and community. The goal is to understand who we are and who God is calling us to be (our mission and vision).
We welcome nominations for service on the MST. Nominations should be directed to arwazny23@gmail.com by March 29, 2021. You can nominate yourself or others with their consent.
