During the Season of Advent, we anticipate the joy of the birth of Christ and gather with family and friends to celebrate this gift from God. For those who have lost loved ones, however, the holiday season can be difficult as they are faced with the absence of those dear to them. To help those who experience this emotional time, the church offers a Blue Christmas service on December 11 from 3-4 pm. This Service of Remembrance will offer solace and support through music, scripture and a message reminding us of God’s love. Please join us as we remember God’s Promise in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave you or forsake you” and find the courage, hope, and peace that His promise gives us.
