Preschool Update

It’s a busy season at the preschool. (Is there any other type of season when you work with young children?) It’s a time of year when we see big changes in the children. We observe a lot of social and emotional growth in children, who begin to recognize their emotions and interact with their friends more regularly. The language of our 2 and 3-year-old children is more frequent and conversational. The 4 and 5-year-old children are becoming more independent and improving their problem-solving skills and critical thinking. Registration for the fall begins on February 4th for our current families and church members! If you are part of our Priority Registration group, an email will be sent out with a link for the online registration. If you’re a church member and need the priority link, please contact the preschool office. Our playground and outdoor areas are in need of some work. We are looking to replace our turf on the playground. The fake grass has been on our list of items to take care of and after removing a tree in August, we have moved that up as a priority. We are also looking to move a cinder block bench and replace our sun shades. We’re blessed to have a wonderful playground that provides space to explore and play and we want to keep it a lively and safe place. Many thanks for all your prayers and support!
