There is an expectation with Thanksgiving that we prepare a special meal, that we gather with family, and that we eat too much. All of that is hard to do if you are homeless, live on a limited income, or are part of an enlisted personnel's family serving overseas. RB Community's Thanksgiving Dinner Bag drive provided 79 families with all the ingredients for a complete turkey dinner. Thanksgiving Dinner Bags were delivered to two low-income apartment complexes in Poway, to families at Twin Peaks and Meadowbrook Middle Schools, to military families served by STEP, and to Solutions for Change families having their first Thanksgiving after being homeless.
