We have an exciting opportunity to bring our community together and create a brand-new space for our youth to shine! The former Middle School Ministry room is set to be transformed into a vibrant theater and drama rehearsal space, and we need your help to make it happen—all in one day!
Demo Day Details:
Date: Sept 14, 2024
Time: 7:30am - 7:30pm
Location: RB Community Church, Middle School Ministry Room - 17010 Pomerado Road. Lower level.
What’s the Plan? We'll be rolling up our sleeves and diving into some hands-on work. There’s plenty to do, and every helping hand will make a difference:
Skate Ramp Removal: We’ll start by removing the skate ramp to make room for our young actors.
Carpet Removal: Out with the old to make way for new, clean flooring.
Stage Pieces: We’ll be dismantling and moving stage pieces to create an open rehearsal area.
Painting: Once the room is cleared, it’s time for a fresh, new coat of paint to bring the space to life. Painting prep can happen in the hallway while demo is happening inside the room too!
Finishing Touches: Finally, we’ll install beautiful laminate flooring and rehearsal mirrors along one wall to create a professional environment for our aspiring stars.
This is a fantastic chance for us to come together as a community and invest in our youth. Whether you’re a theater lover, a DIY enthusiast, or just someone who enjoys contributing to a good cause, there’s a place for you in this project.
What to Bring:
Work gloves and closed toed shoes
Refillable water bottle
Tools you might have to help with the job
A positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in!
We’re aiming to complete the demo and begin the transformation all in one day, so your time and effort will truly make an impact. Please plan to join us for a few hours, or all day. We are excited for you to be part of something special—creating a space where our youth can build confidence, explore their creativity, and discover their passion for the performing arts.
