Food Packing Event for Baja

RB Community is partnering with Rancho Bernardo High School’s Fight Against Hunger Club to sponsor a food packing event for residents of Tijuana and Baja California. We need your help to pack 27,000 meals within two-hours. RB Community has donated $2,000 to this event so Baja Presbyterian Ministries can continue their work in helping to distribute food to families in Baja.
Covid has severly impacted families and busnesses in Tijuana and Baja. Many have lost their jobs due to business closures, there is no unemployment and no stimulus check. Clergy in Baja have been trying to help their families and neighbors but they too have been impacted by Covid, many of them dying from the virus.
This event will follow all local and state guidelines for outdoor events. Face masks are required. Hairnets and gloves will be provided.
