From Judaism to Christianity

In previous years we have summarized the ‘story’ of the Old Testament, paying particular attention to the ‘Law and the Prophets’. Now, after a short examination of the ‘Time Between the Testaments’, we will dive into the Gospel of Matthew, commonly known as the ‘Gospel to the Jews’. Comparing the Ten Commandments to Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount will be the central feature of this study. We’ll also discuss the effect of the Judeo- Christian ethic of the Bible on today’s society and our own lives.
