Giving Thanks with Dinner Bags

This month we are combining our regular grocery drive with the Thanksgiving Dinner bag collection. With the increased cost of groceries we anticipate more families needing Thanksgiving Dinner Bags and will include some additional food items to help provide families with more meals. Last year we provided over 200 Thanksgiving Dinner bags to families dealing with food insecurity within the Poway Unified School District boundaries, to enlisted military families served through STEP, and clients of New Day Urban Ministries.

Please include the following items: (2) each of canned corn and canned green beans (1) each can or jar of gravy and canned cranberry sauce (1) each box of potatoes, mac & cheese, stuffing, bread mix (1) foil, bottle of oil, and $20.00 gift card to Stater Bros, Vons, Target, or Wal-Mart.
