Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry is our primary outreach during the month of October. We will be distributing and collecting shoeboxes in the courtyard on Sunday mornings and they are available in the Welcome Center or the Gallery in the Narthex during the week.

Samaritan’s Purse has sponsored Operation Christmas Child since 1993 sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with more than 300 million boys and girls through the power of simple shoebox gifts. Many shoebox recipients participate in their follow-up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey, of 12 Bible lessons that teach children how to become faithful followers of Jesus.

In this simple way of filling a shoebox you can impact the lives of children around the world. Last year RB Community collected 255 from folks in our congregation. Let’s set a new target of 300 shoeboxes for this years collection.
