Youth, Music and Theater at RB Community is an exciting, fun and safe place to learn the basics of theater, gain more experience on stage, or polish theater skills you already posses!

Theater Explorers (ages 3 (potty trained) - Kinder): Tuesdays 4:00pm - 5:30pm and Wednesdays 3:00pm - 4:30pm (RBCPC preschool "escort" option available.)

RB Community Theater knows that children learn best through play. Our Theater Explorer classes are designed especially for our youngest stars and is the perfect place for imagination, exploration, and creativity to bloom. Our explores learn theater etiquette, theater vocabulary and play imagination games that engage their voices, bodies and creativity. Explores also practice important social skills like taking turns, following rules, and giving focus to others. Explorers have opportunities to performa informally during class, but also prepare to perform during the final class performance with the MusicalKIDS.

Fall Classes BEGIN Sept 3rd and Sept 4th, 2024

Musical KIDS (1st - 5th grades): 4:00pm - 6:00pm. MusicalKIDS take theater to the next level learning valuable skills that benefits students way beyond the stage. Each session teaches all things needed to put on a show! Students audition (if they want), learn to sing songs by themselves and in groups, learn choreography (dancing and singing together), and memorize lines to tell a story on stage. Each class is jam packed full of energizing theater fun, and ends with the performance shared with the theater explorers.

Fall show - Disney's AristrocatsKIDS - Begins Sept 3rd (show November 19th) Spring show - AnnieKIDS - Begins Feb 4th (show May 20th)

Summer Theater 2 week intensive camp Willy Wonka and the Chocolate FactoryKIDS - July 22 - Aug 2, 2024. Camp is currently FULL.

Middle and high school theater and music from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

Youth Choir and Drama (6th - 12th grades) - Youth Choir/Drama is for 6th - 12th graders. Come join us for fun filled singing, and a little bit of drama. All levels welcome. This is a wonderful place to get extra practice singing outside of school choir, and develop or polish theater skills to improve your confidence on and off the stage. No pressure and it's a lot of FUN!!

RB Community Theater offers a safe place for those who love theater, want to learn new skills, or just be a part of something fun. No one is turned away! We encourage students to take part behind the scenes in tech, costume design, and set construction too!
