Brent Barclay, who grew up in our faith family is now Rev. Brenton Barclay, head of staff Teaching Elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Spring Valley, Calif. Brent's ordination service blessed our family members who attended. Most of Brent's new congregation viewed it virtually due to COVID restrictions. The service featured many good old hymns, lots of prayers and a wonderful message delivered by Pastor Ray Sparling. The Rev. Dr. Mofid Wasef lead in a laying-on-of-hands to dedicate Brent to the Lord's service.
Brent is prepared and committed to being a servant in word and deed to his new congregation.
Noteworthy fact for RB Community members: Brent answered the call to ministry and went through the Committee on Preparation for Ministry (CPM) and Seminary at Bethel Seminary while serving on RB Community's staff for 10+ years.
